System overview

TheEducators.com is an Application Service Provider that will enable schools, colleges, universities, etc (Course Providers) to develop a complete online teaching and learning environment.

The system comprises of four servers:

The EMS provides a system that allows a provider of training and education to build and manage their online operational environment. It is supported by three further servers that enable the provider to manage content, deliver it and receive payment.

The content used within a course is stored and managed by the ERS. The delivery of educational material to students and progress tracking is managed by the EDS and all commercial matters from display to final sales and registration is handled by the ECS.

Although the system is highly complex it benefits from an easy to use and very friendly user interface. Course Providers can therefore expect to establish an online presence within a relatively short period of time.
